Disturbed is a band of Alternative Metal formed in 1996 in Chicago, Illinois, when Dan Donegan, Steve “Fuzz” Kmak and Mike Wengren joined vocalist David Draiman. Draiman suggested the band name. Disturbed shows strong influences of heavy metal of the 90 incorporated solos and riffs of guitar technicians.
Since the formation of the band
The American group was formed when David Draiman answered a want ad for a singer made by group members, who accepted it. Draiman, who soon would become the group’s leader, had grown extremely religious family against which he rebelled as a teenager, which explains who has been expelled from five schools in his youth, and therefore the content the lyrics that deny the benevolence of a higher being.
