Aerolineas Argentinas was born in 1950 by a decree of President Juan Domingo Peron, by joining four airlines. In 1979, the company became the State Society, but 11 years later, in 1990, the Spanish consortium Iberia was by the company, which changed its name to Aerolineas Argentinas SA In 2001, the new management increased the participation of Spanish officials, which ended with the transfer of the airline to Marsans Group.
